Primary School Level

It was a long weekend break and my friends had gone outstation. I was restless and cranky.

Mom said “Tina, why don't you help me in the kitchen? I have a lot of baking to do". "Wow!" I said, "that sounds like fan". I beat the eggs, weighed and sieved the flour, mixed it all with sugar. Then added essence and soon the cake was in the oven. We also made cookies. It was fun making them of different shapes. I helped cleaning the kitchen and waited patiently for the baking to be done as the aroma made my mouth water.
