My Best Friend

Points: How I came to know him - his appearance and nature - why I admire him - how we share everything.

A true friend is hard to find. I have a true friend and his name is Mukesh. He is my neighbour. We have been friends since childhood. We joined school together. Even today we are classmates.

Mukesh is tall and slim. He is strong and healthy. He has bright eyes and a charming face. He has a kind, sociable and helpful nature. He is good at his studies. He is also good at sports, elocution, debating and dramatics. He is an all-rounder. He is very popular with all the children in the school.

I admire him for his good qualities. He is not selfish. He helps me as much as he can in my studies. He shares all that he has with me. We are really like brothers. We are very fond of each other. We like to be together all the time.

Difficult Words: Slim-thin; charming-pleasant; nice to look at; elocution-recitation, making speeches; dramatics-acting, all- round-able to do many things well; popular-liked very much; fond of-like very much.
