12th Class Mathematics Continuity and Differentiability

  • question_answer 1)
Show that f(x) = cos (x2) is a continuous function.

    Answer:

Let g(x) = cos x and h(x) = x2             Since cosine function is everywhere continuous.       Therefore, g is continuous.       Also h being a polynomial functionis continuous. As composite function of two continuous function is continuous, so f is a continuous function.
