I met a group of girls from Pakistan and felt that I had more in common with them than many girls from other parts of my own country. Is this anti-national to feel so?

    Answer:

Before partition Pakistan was the part of India. Punjab state divided among Pakistan and India. East punjab goes to Pakistan and West Punjab comes in India. Pakistan was formed on the ground of religion so many people from different part of India also goes to Pakistan. Earlier these people lives on the same place and shared common culture like food, festival, etc. So, its very natural to indentify with them. India is a very big and diverse country difference race, language, culture found in different states. There is a lot of difference between North Indian and South Indian people. So, if any one feel more similarity with Pakistan's people there is nothing wrong about it and he or she is not anti-national. Nationality has a bigger and broder meaning which goes beyond being same race and speaking same language.
