    Why did Mahatma Gandhi decide to go for Non-cooperation Movement?

    Answer:

                    In his famous book Hind Swaraj, Mahatma Gandhi declared that British rule was established in India with the cooperation of Indians only. If Indians had refused to cooperate, British rule in India would have been collapsed within a year and swaraj would come. Mahatma Gandhi felt after jallianwala' incident, it was needed to, launch a more broad-based  movement in India.
