How can strong and weak electrolytes be distinguished?

    Answer:

Strong electrolytes: These are almost completely ionized in their aqueous solution. Some common examples are mineral acids like etc. bases like etc. and salts like Weak electrolytes: They ionise in aqueous solution to the smaller extent. In other words they have low degree to ionisation. Their aqueous solution contains ions in equilibrium with undissociated molecules. Some example are  etc. The degree of ionisation of weak electrolyte increases with dilution and approaches unity. This is in accordance with Ostwald's dilution law,
