    The solution of \[\frac{2x+3}{2x-1}=\frac{3x-1}{3x+1}\]is

    A) \[\frac{1}{8}\]

    B)        \[-\frac{1}{8}\]

    C) \[\frac{8}{3}\]

    D)        \[-\frac{8}{3}\]

    Correct Answer: B

    Solution :

    Given    \[\frac{2x+3}{2x-1}=\frac{3x-1}{3x+1}\] By dividend        \[\frac{2x+3}{(2x+3)-(2x-1)}\]                 \[=\frac{3x-1}{(3x-1)-(3x+1)}\] or            \[\frac{2x+3}{4}=\frac{3x-1}{-2}\] or            \[2x+3=-6x+2\] or            \[8x=-1\] \[\therefore \]    \[x=-\frac{1}{8}\]
