If you cut o 1 cm square to the new shape as given below then what will be the new boundary of the shape?

    Perimeter of original square = 16cm. New Shape: Perimeter of new shape = 2cm + 1cm + 1cm + 1cm + 1cm + 4cm + 4cm + 4cm = 18cm Therefore, the answer is option (c) 18cm.
