    A) If both the assertion and the reason are true and the reason is a correct explanation of the assertion

    B) If both the assertion and reason are true but the reason is not a correct explanation of the assertion

    C) If the assertion is true but the reason is false

    D) If both the assertion and reason are false

    E) If the assertion is false but reason is true

    Correct Answer: B

    Solution :

Monolocular vision can be seen in horse, rabbit or cat. In man and other Primates, however both the eyes face forward, so that they form two separate images of the same object. But two images are not seen due to overlapping of their fields of vision. As a result, the object is seen in three dimensions which also give a sense of the distance of the object. This type of vision in which the depth or distance is also judged is called binolocular or stereoscopic vision.
