The people out there were very lazy. They would not get up early in the morning. They would sleep till late in the afternoon. They did not like to work hard. They always thought that something magical will happen and they would become rich. When it used to rain, they stayed back saying that "it's raining heavily, we can't go now, we'll get wet, let it get over". And in the summers, when it was sunny, they would find another excuse. They would do only the least, to survive. So they did not have any savings. All that was earned was so little that it could not be saved. Once there was a drought, the ground was all dry. Now there was no one, who had his savings. They all began to die, of thirst and hunger. They had been so lazy that they had not even dug a well. Within a few days, half the population had died of hunger and thirst. Whosoever was left now, decided to leave the village. They all decided to go to some other place. They started moving, they found a new village. In the other village people were hardworking. Despite drought they were not suffering. They had enough savings to save them from hunger. They had built reservoirs to store water. The villagers now learnt the importance of hard work. They promised to themselves that they will also work hard. What is a reservoir?
