    Solution :

     Let the side of single new cube be a. Then        \[{{a}^{3}}={{30}^{3}}+{{40}^{3}}+{{50}^{3}}\]                 \[={{10}^{3}}\,(27+64+125)\]                 \[={{10}^{3}}\times {{6}^{3}}\] \[\therefore \]  \[a=60\,cm\] Total surface area of new cube \[=6{{a}^{2}}=6\times {{60}^{2}}\]                 \[=21600\,c{{m}^{2}},\] i.e. \[2.16\,{{m}^{2}}\]
