A transistor is a temperature sensitive device. Comment.

    Answer:

When a transistor is properly biased, its electrons and holes carry current. If its temperature is increased, many of its covalent bonds may break producing a large number of extra electron-hole pairs which will set a large current through the transistor. This may produce a large amount of heat resulting in the complete breakdown of the transistor.
