    Solution :

    For sonometer \[n\propto \frac{1}{l}\] \[\therefore \]  \[\frac{{{n}_{1}}}{{{n}_{2}}}=\frac{{{l}_{2}}}{{{l}_{1}}}\Rightarrow \frac{256}{{{n}_{2}}}=\frac{16}{25}\]                 \[{{n}_{2}}=\frac{256\times 25}{16}\]                 \[=400\,\,Hz\]
