    A)  All dosterone

    B)  ADH

    C)  ACTH

    D)  TSH

    Correct Answer: B

    Solution :

Diabetes in sipidus is under the control of ADH hormone. ADH is called as antidiuretic hormone, also called as vasopressin. When vasopressin is released in excessive amounts, the urine becomes concentrated and blood is diluted, increasing BP. When vasopressin is released in smaller  amounts,  dieresis increases; urine becomes diluted and blood becomes concentrated, decreasing BP. In acute diuresis, quantity of urine may increase about 20 litres instead of normal 1 to 2L per day. This condition is called polyurea or diabetes insipidus (passing of water; tasteless urine). It causes dehydration of body and thirst.
