II. \[{{e}^{-}}+C{{u}^{2+}}\xrightarrow{{}}C{{u}^{+}}\]                    (Reduction) \[2{{I}^{\bigcirc -}}\xrightarrow{{}}{{I}_{2}}+2{{e}^{-}}\]                (Oxidation) Hence, redox reaction.
