    Solution :

                    Using the relation, \[i=\frac{E}{R+r}\] Here,  \[r=5\times {{10}^{-2}}=0.05\Omega ,\,E=12V,\,i=60a\]                 \[60=\frac{12}{R+0.05}\]                 \[=60R+3=12\] So,          \[R=\frac{9}{60}\Omega \] Now, voltage across cell is given by                 \[V=iR=60\times \frac{9}{60}=9V\]
