The rate of a chemical reaction doubles for  every \[{{10}^{o}}C\]increase in temperature, if the temperature of reaction is-increased from \[{{30}^{o}}C\]to \[{{80}^{o}}C\]. The rate of reaction increases:

    A)  \[16\]

    B)  \[32\]

    C)  \[64\]

    D)  \[4\]

    Correct Answer: B

    Solution :

Increase in temperature \[=80-30={{50}^{o}}C\] For every \[{{10}^{o}}C\]increase in temperature rate of reaction doubles.           Thus, for \[{{50}^{o}}C\]increase in temperature increase in rate of reaction \[={{2}^{5}}\]\[=32\text{ }times\]
