    \[{{R}_{\max }}=\frac{{{u}^{2}}}{g}=100\,m\] The range of the projectile is maximum for the angle of projection \[\theta ={{45}^{o}}\]. When the range is maximum the height attained by a projectile is, \[H=\frac{{{u}^{2}}}{4\,g}=\frac{100}{4}=25\,m\]
