     The secretion of intestinal gland is called intestinal juice or succus entericus, The intestinal juice contains many enzymes, maltase isomaltase, sucrase, lactase,  \[\alpha -\]dextrinase enterokinase,   aminopeptidase, dipeptidase etc. Bile juice is a watery greenish fluid mixture containing bile pigments, bile salts cholesterol and phospholipids. Bile juice is secreted by liver. Gastric juice is secreted by the cells of gastric gland. The gastric juice has pH 1.5-2.5, whereas the pH of infants gastric juice is 5.0. The gastric juice contains two proenzyme (ie, pepsinogen and prorenin) enzyme gastric lipase, mucus and HCl. The salivary juice (saliva) is secreted by major and minor salivary glands. Saliva is slightly acidic pH 6.8.
