    Solution :

     Leishmaniasis or kala-azar is caused by Leishmania donovani. It spreads by sand fly. It is also known as dum-dum fever. Glossina palpalis (Tse-tse fly) transmitts sleeping sickness and    the causative organism is Trypanosoma       gambiense.       Filariasis (elephantiasis) is caused by Wuchereria bancrofti the filarial worm but transmitted by Culex or Aedes. Yellow fever caused by an arbovirus is a haemorrhagic disease transmitted by the infected Aedes aegypti.
