    A)  400, 800

    B)  400, 600

    C)  700, 800

    D)  900, 1000

    Correct Answer: B

    Solution :

     \[\frac{Quantity\text{ }lent\text{ }at\text{ }8%}{Quantity\text{ }lent\text{ }at\text{ }10%}\] \[\frac{10-9.2}{9.2-8}=\frac{0.8}{1.2}=\frac{2}{3}\] \[\therefore \]Dividing Rs. 1/000 in\[\frac{2}{3}\]as, Quantity of money lent at 8% \[=~\frac{2}{(2+3)}\times 1000=Rs,\text{ }400\] Quantity of money lent at 10% \[=~\frac{3}{2+3}\times 1000=Rs.\text{ 600}\]
