    Here: Mass of cylinder\[m=10\,\,kg\] Initial velocity of the cylinder \[v=10\,\,m\] Coefficient of friction between the surface and cylinder\[\mu =0.5\] Kinetic energy of cylinder\[E=\frac{1}{2}m{{v}^{2}}\]                 \[=\frac{1}{2}\times 10\times {{10}^{2}}=500\,\,Nm\]                    ... (1) Work done in rolling the cylinder.                 \[W=m\times \mu g\times s=0.5\times 10\times 10\times s\]    ? (2) As kinetic energy is consumed in doing the work Hence, equating these two value for equation (1) and (2) \[500=50s\]        so,          \[s=10\,\,m\]
