    A) \[{{H}_{2}}S{{O}_{4}}+S{{O}_{3}}\]

    B) \[{{H}_{2}}S{{O}_{4}}+S{{O}_{2}}\]

    C) \[{{H}_{2}}S{{O}_{4}}\]

    D) \[{{H}_{2}}S{{O}_{4}}+S{{O}_{4}}\]

    Correct Answer: A

    Solution :

Fuming  sulphuric  acid  is  oleum\[({{H}_{2}}{{S}_{2}}{{O}_{7}})\]i.e.\[{{H}_{2}}S{{O}_{4}}+S{{O}_{3}}\xrightarrow{{}}\underset{Pyrosulphuric\,\,acid}{\mathop{{{H}_{2}}{{S}_{2}}{{O}_{7}}}}\,\] \[S{{O}_{3}}\]is absorbed in concentrated\[{{H}_{2}}S{{O}_{4}}\] to give oleum.
