     Number of moles of sugar \[=\frac{68}{342}=0.1988\] (\[\because \]Molecular weight of sugar\[=342\]) Number of moles of water\[=\frac{1000}{18}\] \[=55.55\] (\[\because \]Molecular weight of water =18) \[\therefore \]Mole fraction of sugar\[=\frac{0.1988}{0.1988+55.55}\] \[=0.00356\approx 0.0036\]
