    Solution :

    Rate of cooling of a body is directly proportional to the temperature difference of body and surrounding (atmosphere). \[\therefore \] time taken by a body to cool from \[{{60}^{o}}C\] to \[{{50}^{o}}C\]will be less than the time taken by it to cool from \[{{80}^{o}}C\] to \[{{70}^{o}}C\].
