    Solution :

    Range R \[=\frac{{{\upsilon }^{2}}\sin 2\theta }{g}\] Range R will be maximum if sin \[2\theta =1\] so,          \[{{R}_{\max }}=\frac{{{\upsilon }^{2}}}{g}\] Maximum area covered \[=\pi {{({{R}_{\max }})}^{2}}=\pi {{\left( \frac{{{\upsilon }^{2}}}{g} \right)}^{2}}\]
