    Here: Focal power of first lens\[{{P}_{1}}=0.5D\] Focal power of second lens\[{{P}_{2}}=20D\] Using the relation for magnifying power \[m=\frac{{{f}_{0}}}{{{f}_{e}}}=\frac{{{P}_{2}}}{{{P}_{1}}}=\frac{20}{0.5}=40\]
