    Solution :

    \[{{E}_{1}}\propto 64\] \[{{E}_{1}}-{{E}_{2}}\propto l\] \[{{E}_{2}}\propto l\] \[\therefore \]  \[64-l=8\] or \[l=64-8=56cm\]
