  ICICI Bank announced the launch of a co-branded multi-currency card with online travel booking portal Goibibo. The card also includes benefits of up to Rs20,000, including gift vouchers of Rs15,000 from Goibibo. Additionally, customers get 40 paise discount on the currency conversion rate on loading of a minimum of $1,000.

 LIC Mutual Fund appointed Dinesh Pangtey as the company’s Chief Executive Officer (CEO). Pangtey was Director and CEO at LIC Group’s private equity division LIC HFL AMC. He joined LIC as a direct recruit officer in 1984. He has also served as Regional Manager Marketing channel in Western Zone spanning the states of Maharashtra, Gujarat and Goa.

 The WTO Ministerial Meeting of Developing Countries concluded in New Delhi. The Ministerial Meeting began with a dinner hosted by the Union Minister of Commerce & Industry and Civil Aviation, Suresh Prabhu. The Director-General of WTO, Roberto Azevedo, was also present during the dinner.

 India successfully conducted the flight test of ABHYAS – High-speed Expendable Aerial Target (HEAT) from a test range in Odisha. The trial, carried out by the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) from the Integrated Test Range (ITR) at Chandipur in Balasore, was tracked by various radars and electro-optic systems.

  Padma Shri awardee Bhojpuri vocal artist Hiralal Yadav passed away in Varanasi at the age of 93. Shri Yadav was a well known Bhojpuri folk singer from the ‘Birha’ genre, which revolves around the separation of a lover from his beloved. He received a Padma Shri award, the country’s fourth highest civilian award, in January 2019. In 2015, he was felicitated with the Yash Bharti award for his contribution in the field of music.
