    What are the major functions of male accessory ducts and glands?

    Part of Male reproductive Functions
    A. Male accessory ducts:
    (i) Rete testis: Storage of sperms produced by semiferous tubules.
    (ii) Vasa efferentia: Conduct the sperms from rete testis to epididymis.
    (iii) Epididymis:   Storage, nutrition to and physiological maturation of sperms.
    (iv) Vasa deferentia: Conduct the sperms from epididymes to urethra.
    B. Male accessory glands:
    (i) Seminal vesicles: Activate the sperms and stimulate vaginal contraction.
    (ii) Prostate gland: Activates the sperms, nutrition to sperms and neutralize the acidity of urine.
    (iii) Cowper’s glands: Mucus-like secretion lubricates the penis during intercourse.
