1.(c) What is a leap year?

    Answer:

Earth moves around the sun. Earth takes 365 days and 6 hours to make a complete round of the earth. We take 365 days in a year and ignore 6 hours. But these six hours make a day in four years. Hence one day is added every fourth year. So the every fourth year is called a leap year because it has 366 days. Its effect is that, the month of February becomes the month of 29 days once in four years.
