Answer:

(i) About 20 acres. (ii) The paddy is used to produce rice in the rice mill/ so he sold to the traders in nearby town.   (iii} The other source of his earnings, are : (1) He gives loans to the poor people and gets interest. (2) He also owns a rice mill and buys paddy from within the village and nearby areas, so profit was earned by him.
