There is the narrator (writer) of the story. He came to live with his Grandfather. Timothy crept closer to the writer and suddenly made a dash for his feet. Then he rolled on his back and kicked with delight. It seemed he was going to bite the writer's ankles. So, the narrator thought that he had become one of the tiger's favorites.
