digesting or breaking down all organic nutrients may release into the cell.
Due to their capability of digestion they may eat up or
digest or break down other cell organelles leading to hampered metabolic
activities and finally death of the cell.
This is the reason why lysosome are also known as suicidal
bags of cell.
