Computers are widely used in railways and airlines.  

   Computers are used to control the traffic and for the following purposes:

• Computers are also used to make reservations, maintaining- timetables, crew schedules, etc.
• Computers play a very important role to control the movements of trains in underground railways and activities of aero planes in the airways.
