I, Prakash, am a student of political science at Delhi University, and a regular reader of your articles in the Hindustan express. I like them for the simple yet sharp style of expression, logical analysis and historical perspective in which things are explained.

The recent series you started, Tears from the shadows', was excellent in terms of the research you've done for the topic, and the element of emotion you tried to bring into it. It's a sad truth that most of us remain blind to the roadside children, who are mutilated by the begging lobby, to make sure they obey, and stick to begging. We all know of child rights, and we all know that we can help them by calling the helpline number, but we remain complacent with our own little lives. More than the lobby, I think, it is we by our silent approvals that create these child beggars.

Your article inspired me to finally accept and understand the world around me as it actually existed.
