His heart was completely changed after the marriage of his only child. He understood the real meaning of love and acute pain of separation. He had no news of his daughter, even though he used to go to the post-office every day in the hope of a letter from her, He was dying to know about well being of his daughter. But he did not receive any letter and his heart was filled with sorrow due to this.
