  Brain is a very delicate organ. How does the body protect such an organ?

Answer:

                  The brain in human beings are present inside a bony box. Inside the box the brain is contained in a fluid This fluid is called as cerebrospinal fluid which  protects the brain from mechanical shocks. The spinal cord on the other hand is protected by vertebral column or backbone.                                     (1)
