    Answer:

                      (a) Lymph is a colourless tissue fluid flowing in lymphatic capillaries in the body.                  (1) (b) Through the pores present in the walls of capillaries, some amount of proteins, plasma and blood cells escape into intercellular spaces in the tissues to form lymph.              (1) (c) Lymph has following role in our body (i) Lymph carries digested and absorbed fat from intestine and drains excess fluid from extracellular space back into the blood. (ii) It also fights against the infection by lymphocytes.                                                    (1)
