                    (a) T= Oesophagus, U= liver, V= Small intestine (1) (b) The secretion which passes down tube W is bile. Functions of bile are                         (1) (i) It makes the acidic food alkaline to facilitates the action of enzymes trypsin, lipase and amylase on it. (ii) Bile salts break the fats present in the food into small globules for enzymes to act. (c) In cases of diarrhoea the process of absorption of water will not occur normally in region X.                                                             (3)
