Describe  Faraday's  experiment  on electromagnetic induction.

    Answer:

Faraday observed that when magnetic flux associated with a coil was changed, a current was induced in the coil. He found that when there was relative motion between a circular coil and a bar magnet, the galvanometer connected to the coil showed deflection.                                                         (1) The direction of deflection reversed when the direction of relative motion of magnet was reversed. No current was induced when the coil and magnet were stationary with each other.   (1)
