                    Alloys are the homogeneous mixture of two or more metals/metals with a non-metal.  (1) They are made by mixing the metals in the molten state and then cooling the mixture. (1) Constituents and Uses of Alloys Brass (copper and zinc) It is used in making utensils and taps.                                              (1) Bronze (copper and tin) It is used in making medals, statues, etc.                                        (1) Solder (lead and tin) It is used to weld electrical wires.                                                  (1)
