                Human beings have used resources indiscriminately, leading to the following major problems (i) Resources have depleted due to the greed of some individuals / countries. (ii) Resources have accumulated in a few hands, which, in turn have divided society into two segments i.e., 'haves' and 'have nots', meaning rich and poor. (iii) Indiscriminate exploitation of resources has led to global ecological crisis such as global warming, ozone layer depletion, environmental pollution and land degradation.
