    Answer:

                      The founder of Hoa Hao Movement was Huynh Phu So. He performed miracles and helped the poor. He opposed useless expenditure, sale of child brides, gambling and the use of alcohol and opium. The French authorities tried to suppress the movement inspired by him and declared him mad. Later in 1941, he was declared as sane. The French  authorities exiled him to Laos and sent many of his  followers to concentration camps.
