    Give reasons/or the following Life does not exists on Venus and Mars. Why? (b)We are lucky that ozone is not stable near Earth's surface.

   (a) No life is known to exist on Venus and Mars because there the major component of atmosphere is found to be carbon dioxide (i.e., it constitutes up to 95-97% of atmosphere).                (b) Ozone is an unstable and highly reactive form of oxygen. Its presence in the troposphere is extremely toxic or corrosive and inhalation of ozone causes damage to lungs. So, we are lucky that ozone is not stable near Earth's surface.
