    Solution :

     Let the number of 25-paise coins be\[n\]. Then the number of 50-paise coins will be \[120-n\] \[\therefore \]  \[25n+50\times (120-n)=50\times 100\] or            \[n=40\] Hence number of 50-paise coins\[=120-40=80\]
