So as per question \[\frac{2x+4000}{3x+4000}=\frac{40}{57}\] \[\Rightarrow \,57\left( 2x+4000 \right)=40\left( 3x+4000 \right)\] \[\Rightarrow 6x=68000\] \[\Rightarrow \,3x=34000\] Sumit Salary \[=3x+4000=34000+4000-38000\]
