    Let the number of boys be x.           Then, the number of girls \[=14\frac{2}{7}%\] of x             \[=\frac{100}{7}x\times \frac{1}{100}=\frac{x}{7}\] Now, total number of students = 560 So, \[x+\frac{x}{7}=560\Rightarrow \frac{8x}{7}=560\Rightarrow x=490\] \[\therefore \] Number of girls \[=(560-490)=70\]
