He brought out a golden axe. He offered it to the woodcutter. But the woodcutter did not take it. It was not his. The God again jumped into the water. This time, he brought out a silver axe. The woodcutter did not accept it either. The third time, the God brought out an iron axe. It was the woodcutter's axe. He accepted it. The God was pleased with him at his honesty. He gave him the other two axes as a reward.
