(i) The increase of frequency of incident radiation has no effect on the photoelectric current. This is because the incident photon of increased energy cannot eject more than one electron from the metal surface. (ii) The photoelectric current increases proportionally with the increase in intensity of incident radiation. Larger the intensity of incident radiation, larger is the number of incident photons and hence larger is the number of electrons ejected from the metallic surface.
